What about a ligularia? They can grow in shade and moist areas. We will be happy to get them for you, but planting this time of year can be a little tricky.

"We have a moist area in the back corner of our yard that gets some sun, but mostly shade--especially when the trees are leafed out. Is there any hearty shrub we can plant that will provide some color? Do euonymus japonicus need more sunlight and less moisture than that spot might provide? We've tried oleanders & azaleas, but they became twiggy and didn't do well at all."
